Our work on City landscapes is almost reaching its conclusion. Having looked in detail at the London skyline, Class 11 now has an amazing selection of models that we have produced during our D & T sessions. We planned which materials we would need to create the different effects of the major London buildings that we see around us. The pupils have also been describing what they think the texture of each building may feel like, and thinking about the differences between a brick and a glass structure. The next phase for the amazing project is to photograph the Class 11 cityscape. We will then use these images during our ICT time to manipulate our very own city skyline.
