Class 7 have been playing a number of competitive ball games during their weekly PE sessions. All of the pupils are extremely confident with ball control, using both their feet and their hands. Playing under the basic rules of basketball, we have introduced them to the idea of working as a team, finding some free space on the court and passing the ball to teammates.
Class 7 are also studying the rules of various games, and using these to help them raise their skill levels further. We have learnt that we can only move with the basketball if we are bouncing it. We have also been learning about the importance of keeping the ball in play, and which team gets to throw the ball back into the game, once it has left the court.
