Silver class had a really successful singing assembly with many of the children joining in both the singing, and the signing of some of our favourite songs. We started off the assembly by welcoming everyone, as well as saying hello to some new faces joining Silver class for the assembly. Each class member is then given a chance to choose a song to sing. We encourage the use of signing during the choice and make sure that the children are able to communicate effectively to the adults.
The Wheels on the Bus was a popular choice this week! Our singing assembly then continued with the introduction of a new song – Brown Girl in the Ring. We first made sure that all of the children understood the new signs for the song, and then finished off our assembly by singing and signing.
