It has been an incredibly tasty time around Class 11 during our Food Technology lessons. The pupils have been planning, and then cooking their very own curry and rice. We started off the session by first of all thinking about which part of the world curry traditionally comes from. The pupils then correctly identified the main spicy taste that can be found in most curries. We talked about the different types of curry that we can cook, before deciding upon cooking a chicken curry. We planned out the ingredients, including onion, peppers and of course, chicken. We learnt how important it is to use separate chopping boards when preparing both meat and vegetables. The final product was a delightful curry, cooked to perfection and impossible to resist, as you can see from the video above.
