Orange class have been putting in some final preparations ahead of their assembly for later in the week. We are using the opportunity to share with the rest of the primary school all of our work about plants and growth. We will be explaining how all plants need light and water to grow. The children will be acting out this process, with a very special Orange class plant bursting out into bloom towards the end of the assembly. The remainder of the summer term will be spent helping the transition of the Orange class children to Key Stage 2 within Turney School. We will be helping the children to feel confident and comfortable in their new surroundings, as well as understanding the routine of the school day in Key Stage 2.
