Our Turney School boccia team returned home triumphant from the London Olympic Youth Games at Crystal Palace as the Gold medal winners! This was an amazing achievement for our combined team of pupils comprising of Year 5 and Year 6 students. We competed against schools from 31 boroughs throughout London – Turney remained undefeated at both ends during each game!
Boccia is a sport that we take incredibly seriously around Turney School. It gives the pupils plenty of pleasure and is a very inclusive activity, allowing pupils of all abilities to compete on a similar level. We are incredibly proud of our Turney School boccia gold medal winners.
