Class 2S Abstract Art Video

Class 2S have produced some wonderful abstract portraits during our art sessions. We have introduced the pupils to the work of some of the famous abstract artists such as Picasso. We wanted them to observe and understand how a picture needn’t always represent the actual image being viewed.

Each class member then chose a picture of a face. We carefully cut this up into smaller pieces. Our artistic task was to then rearrange these smaller pictures, not quite in the correct order, but to make sure that the overall image of a face was still visible.

You can watch a short video showcasing this Class 2S artwork above.
