Orange Class Updates

Orange Class

It may be coming towards the end of the autumn term but Orange Class have been incredibly busy across all areas of the Turney School curriculum. Our D & T work has involved thinking about where hedgehogs might sleep, and then building a shelter for them. All class members went out on an autumnal hunt around the school gardens. We returned with leaves and twigs to help us build our hedgehog shelters. The next part of this work will be to design a hedgehog out of clay.

We are all very excited about our forthcoming Orange Class trip to Vauxhall City Farm. This will be a great opportunity to not only identify many of the animals, but also to practice our counting skills.

With Christmas almost upon us, Orange Class have been getting in the festive mood by making some winter themed mobiles. These are now hanging proudly from our class windows for all to see and admire.

Finally we will be staging a musical performance for our other friends throughout the school before the end of term. All Orange Class pupils created their own musical instruments, such as shakers and tambourines.
