Class 2S have advanced their understanding on the number line to help solve some missing number problems. All pupils are now confident in using the number line to help count from 1 to 10. We have now introduced into this the idea of missing numbers. The pupils have completed a series of worksheets where they are required to identify what number is missing, and where it needs to placed on the number line.
One of the aims from this exercise is to help Class 2S see how the number line needs to be a complete sequence of numbers. We have also added into this activity some time to help with number character formation. All pupils were able to spend some time working with an adult on helping to improve our number writing technique.
