Green Class are greatly enjoying reading We All Go Traveling By, our current class book. This is a story that contains many new sounds. It is perfect to help Green Class to build upon their existing phonic knowledge as we introduce new sounds. The pupils have using the opening phrase “I hear…” to describe what they can hear around them.
This transport theme will also continue across other areas of the curriculum for Green Class this term. Our science and geography work will also be transport related. Central to all of this is phonics, and how we can improve our own speech and language.
