Our friends at the nearby Orchard Hill College have a number of Open Afternoons coming up. These may be of interest to students, parents and carers of Year 11 pupils at Turney School.
Orchard Hill College is a non-residential specialist College offering educational opportunities for students over 16 years old with learning difficulties. Many of the courses are aimed at giving student practical skills to help them in the world of work.
The Open Afternoons at the Camberwell site will take place at the following dates:
17 October, 1:30pm – 3pm
20 March, 1:30pm – 3pm
The Camberwell site address is: Orchard College, 50 Camberwell Green, London SE5 7AL.
You will be given a tour of the facilities and have the opportunity to look at student work on display. Staff will be available to answer your questions from the following teams: teaching, traineeships, admissions, therapy and nursing.
Refreshments will be available.
