Class 1R have been using their weekly food tech lessons to help develop their motor skills. The food tech team visit the Class 1R space each week with a new recipe in which to prepare and bake. On the menu for a recent session was a tasty vegetable pizza.
The main task that we set the Class 1R members was to slice the vegetables carefully for the pizza. We talked about the importance of having the carrots, broccoli, peppers and mushrooms all being of a similar size. Safety when using the chopping knives was also important.
The end result was some truly tasteful pizzas being prepared by Class 1R.
