Maths work in Class 10E at Turney School has focussed on numbers and counting skills as we come towards the close of the summer term. Different table activities have been set up to take into account the learning aims of each class member. Expert adult help is always available to help solve some of the number problems.
Many of the activities involve counting pictures of a certain type of item, and then matching this up with the correct corresponding number.
Number lines have also been used for this work. The Class 10E pupils have been arranging the numbers from one to ten in the correct sequence. The students are always asked to count out aloud to an adult so that we can help them if they need some guidance.
