Theatre and Citizenship Opportunities

We have a couple of exciting opportunities that pupils of Turney School might like to become involved with.

The first involves our friends from the Polka Children’s Theatre in Wimbledon. The group has a number of shows that may be suitable for pupils at Turney School.

Beasty Baby opens October 14th with a lively celebration of family, growing up and the rituals both children and adults go through in the early years of life using a mix of puppetry and live music.

The Christmas show is Beauty & the Beast. It comes to life in an exhilarating Polka Production brimming with adventure, music, magic and mystery.

Julia Donaldson’s best-selling book The Paper Dolls is lovingly adapted in this gentle story about childhood, memory, and the power of imagination with puppetry and original music.

Polka is a local branch of the National Autistic Society (NAS).
