The Turney School sixth formers have been working hard on creating some art and craft ahead of the opening of the new front of house Turney School sixth form shop. These will then be proudly displayed in the shop and be made available for our friends to buy.
Miss Murphy and her art team have been helping the sixth formers to create pom poms, decorations and coaster mats. The students have each chosen which task they would like to work on.
Artwork teaching has also continued each week in the sixth form. A recent activity involved the students creating a sensory collage. Brightly coloured tissue paper was carefully cut up, and then stuck down neatly to create a striking image. The students were asked to think about the arrangement of the colours next to each other.
