Class 8CJ had some great fun creating a shared footprint art display. This work started with a study of the artist CJ Hendry. The pupils have seen how he had a theme of shoes running throughout his work.
The pupils have been sketching out some creative shoe pictures. This then developed into the full on footprint art!
Each class member removed their shoes and socks. We used out feet to then create footprint art on a large sheet of white paper. The pupils were asked to choose a mix of colours to help create a bright image.
The end result is a unique piece of art that we can now display in the Turney studio. We have used this exercise to talk about different shapes and sizes, and how we are all unique.
