Our main aim in Silver Class for the summer term is to continue to help the children to be settled at Turney School. A large part of this learning involves table work. This helps the children to have a sense of routine.
Different activities take place. Handwriting is one of the key areas. The children are given help to hold a pencil as they practice their early letter and line formation.
We have also started work on matching similar pictures. This activity involves some careful cutting and sticking.
The Picture Exchange Communication System will be used throughout the summer term. This is especially useful when the children are requesting their snacks.
