Class 11MA have been working on different tasks during our science lessons. The main theme is animals and their habitats. We have looked at how environments such as the desert, and cold habitats such as the Artic.

The students have described temperature related activities that they can see in each environment. This has led to the elements of each environment being defined.

Some of the pupils have used this work to learn more about the animals that we can find living in these conditions. Key vocabulary has been introduced: artic, rain forest and desert.

A final Year 11 group has been working hard on finishing their preparations for their exams. The main focus has been to understand how a science experiment starts with a prediction, and ends with a conclusion. The students have been explaining in detail the stages that we need to connect one to the other.
