Blue Class have been busy during the first half of the autumn term with many curriculum activities. Our geography learning is looking at maps. The children have been identifying the difference between land and sea on a selection of maps.
We are going to soon start exploring some of the many home countries of the Blue Class children. We will be decorating some flags of our home nation for a class display.
Our science topic for this term is animals and plants that are around us. The children are very excited about a trip to London Zoo before the half term break.
We are also going to visit Hewitt’s Farm to help with the fruit and vegetable harvest. This will then be used during our food tech lessons.
Finally our English class reading book is The Little Mermaid. We have linked this learning with our study of animals.
