Our keyboard work is continuing in Class 10JB. The pupils learnt last year how the Turney School keyboards can be manipulated to create different sounds. We are now working to understand where the individual notes are on the keyboards.
This has been a cross-curricular activity with some English learning also taking place. The students have been asked to recognise a simple word made out of the some of the names of musical notes. An example might be B-A-G. This is then played on the keyboards.
