Class 10TD have been continuing to learn about different life cycles during our science lessons. The students have been looking in particular at the life cycles of frogs and butterflies.
Different table activities have taken place to meet the learning needs of each class member. Some of the pupils have completed a sheet by filling in the missing words in a sentence. This used our knowledge of how caterpillars become butterflies.
Other pupil have produced a written piece of work showing the steps involved as part of these life changes. Some complex new words have been used such as lava, pupa and transformation.
Each class member has been asked to think about their sentence structure to make the information clear. Science teacher Miss G is very happy with the progress that has been made.
Class 10TD will start to learn about reproduction and gestation after the half term break.
