Blue Class Emotions, Plants and London Landmarks

Blue Class have been reading The Way I Feel during the first half of the spring term. This is a story that helps the children to focus on feelings and emotions.

Our main learning objective has been to identify different emotions. This has then led to some work on how we might react when we feel a certain way, and how we can cope with these emotions.

Our science work in Blue Class has started to look forward to spring. The pupils have been understanding what is needed for plants to grow.

All the class members have planted some sunflower seeds. We have been looking after these by making sure that they receive plenty of water and sunlight.

Our geography learning has continued with the London topic. Blue Class are now all experts at identifying some key London landmarks.

We will start work after the half term break on how to plan for trips. The pupils will be asked to think about different transport types, and what we need to pack when traveling to a particular place.
