Spring Term Learning in Orange Class

Orange Class are coming towards the end of our learning activities for the spring term. The children have worked well across the curriculum.

Out main maths learning has involved the class members being able to route count up to ten. One table activity has seen the children place the correct number of objects next to some matching numbers. The Picture Exchange Communication System is used to ask staff members for resources.

We have been reading a book all about feelings as our main English text. This is the first time that most of the children have used a non-fiction book. Table work has involved the pupils identifying the correct signs for each feeling. We have also used the SCERTS system to explore feelings.

Our spring term science work has seen the Orange Class children continuing with their human development topic.

Finally Our humanities work has been all about the environment. The children have been looking at different landscapes such as the sea, forests and mountains.
