Summer Term Fun in Purple Class

Purple Class are having plenty of fun reading Hooray for Fish during the second half of the summer term. This is a story that helps the children to think about teamwork and how we can help one another.

We have used the theme of under the sea in other learning areas. The children have been playing with some toy fish in a large water container outside. We have been counting how many fish we can see, and matching the different colours.

Our weekly trip to the Turney School allotment is also continuing in Purple Class. The children are encouraged to walk around the safe space independently with adult supervision close at hand. We look at how the plants have grown since the last visit and provide plenty of water.

Finally we have been having plenty of fun riding the school big bikes. A selection of styles are available. We talk about safety and how we can share the bikes with our friends.
