Class 10RH have started to research the challenging topic of World War Two as the main theme for our humanities lessons during the autumn term. This can be a very difficult subject. The students have made a great start with some mature work.
One group of pupils has answered a series of questions by completing some online research. The subject matter has covered when World War Two started, which countries were involved and who their leaders were. Full sentences have been written as the answers.
Other students have been matching pictures from World Word Two with the correct description. Some of the pupils have also completed World War Two themed puzzles.
This work will continue in Class 10RH throughout the autumn term. We will look in detail at topics including the role of women during the War, wartime inventions and life for children during this period.
