Year 11 Students Start Work on ICT Coding

The Year 11 students have been started the new term working on different learning objectives during our ICT lessons. We are given expert tuition twice a week by our ICT teacher Miss H.

Some of the students have started work on coding. The aim here is to gain an understanding on how our commands can change the way that a computer operates. Software has been used that helps the students to manipulate objects around the screen using their instructions.

Another group of Year 11 learners have approached coding by completing some online puzzles. This work has a similar theme of movement. The pupils are encouraged to make the connection between manipulating and rotating images.

A final set of Year 11 students are continuing to improve their keyboard skills. Various typing games help them to feel confident and able to access future ICT learning.
