Food Tech in Class 7AV has had a timely theme for Bonfire Night. The pupils have created and decorated some Bonfire Night toffee apples.
We started our work by looking at different designs. Each class member was asked to choose a style and flavouring that they would like to recreate.
After our apples had been chopped we had the choice of either toffee, milk chocolate or white chocolate as the main coating. The designs were followed by adding in sprinkles, crushed biscuits, marshmallows and coconut flakes.
The Class 7AV pupils were asked to tick off each stage of the recipe once it had been completed. The class members were also responsible for cleaning up their own work station at the end of the lesson.
