Secondary School Singing and Signing Assembly

The Secondary School weekly Singing and Signing Assemblies continue to be the best way to start the new week. Each Monday staff member Mark leads the pupils with some enthusiastic singing and help with their makaton signing.

We started a recent assembly with Mark asking the students how they felt after the weekend. Some of the pupils were able to sign back showing the signs for happy and tired! A brief movement break put everyone in the mood for the singing.

Three songs followed: Stand By Me, We Are the Champions and What a Wonderful World. We had some confident singing and signing taking place at the front of the assembly.

Happy Birthday was then sung to pupils Muhammad and Albion. The Head Girl and Boy took on the responsibility for dismissing the other students back to class.
