Class 11GB recently baked some tasty pinwheel pizzas. This was part of an introduction to our Italian food theme for the rest of the spring term. The pupils will also prepare a variety of pasta dishes.
Key learning aims were expected to be completed by each class member. These included collecting the toppings, choosing a knife, shaping the toppings, spreading the tomato base and cheese grating skills.
Once the ingredients had been added to the pizza base, the next step involved some careful rolling and cutting. The pizzas were then placed in the oven to bake, ahead of being taken home for the students to share.
