Class 9CM are working well as part of their daily class tutorial time. The aim is to establish a settled routine and to give the students some responsibility.
Class members use the Picture Exchange Communication system to show the timetable for the day ahead. Each student then welcomes their friends and staff to start each morning.
The pupils have described what it means to be a good friend. Examples included shaking hands and helping one another.
The class calendar is then changed by one of the students. This helps us to keep track of where we are in the week. A movement breaks ends the tutorial time and helps to prepare the pupils for the learning ahead.
