We have been using animals in Green class to help the children identify and match the colours and names of different animals. We have learnt that a frog is green, and that a fish can be gold or yellow. This system of matching is a really great way for the children to associate the appearance of an animal with a specific name. Green class have also been busy creating a set of Christmas cards that will be sent to staff throughout Turney School. We posed for a special photograph, and then used these images within our cards.
