As part of our food topic covering different types of biscuits, Blue Class had a very practical Food Tech session this week, cooking some tasty chocolate biscuits! We started off our session by remembering the rules of food hygiene. Each pupil washed his or her hands and we made sure that our cooking surface was clean.
We wanted to carry on our fine work in being able to understand and carry out instructions. Using a series of Communication in Print recipe instructions, we worked our way through the different stages required. Blue Class took it in turns to measure out the correct amount of each ingredient, and then to stir the mixture together.
The final result was some delicious Blue Class biscuits! You can watch a short video featuring our food preparation above.
