Class 2S are spending the early part of the autumn term learning about different coins during our maths lessons. We set the learning objective of being able to identify coins, as well as being able to describe different forms of currency.
We started off the session by introducing the pupils to a selection of different coins. We asked each class member to describe them, looking at different colours, sizes and feel. One of class members was able to explain that the edges of coins feel different so that anyone with a sight disability is able to identify the coins.
We finished off the Class 2S maths lesson by playing a game on the class whiteboard to help us with our work. You can watch a short video of this above.
