Each class at Turney School now has access to the school iPads to help with the learning and development for every indovidual child. We are finding that the iPads are the perfect tech learning tool to use at Turney School. The range of educational and play apps suit the needs of our pupils. The easy to use touch screens allow inclusive access. Plus iPads help the pupils to become independent learners as they are encouraged to explore many options on the screen.
The pupils in Purple Class now have a dedicated learning time during the day when they are able to investgate the learning potential on the iPads. We have been showing the children how they can use the apps to help them with their knowledge of the alphabet. We have also found some brialliant apps that help the class members with their letter formation and improvement. The audio and video feaures are also useful when learning phonics.
