Orange Class have been using the Turney School iPads to great effect during our regular ICT lessons. Each class member has been able to take photos on the iPad, and then manipulate these to create a new image. Effects have been added, as well as changing the colours and adding a frame to our picture.
The Turney School iPads are also incredibly useful for helping the pupils with their phonics learning. Orange Class have been working with apps that allow us to listen to the sound that each letter, or combination of letters can make. Out task is to repeat the sound and then match up the phonics with the correct letters. The iPads also allow the pupils to practice their letter formation skills.
