Class 3H has been working hard on improving their jumping skills during our recent PE sessions. Mr. Jones started the session by explaining that a sense of balance and a safe landing are both as important as the jump itself.
After a brief warm up we started to practise our jumps from a stationary position. The pupils have been learning how a good jump can become a fantastic jump if we use our arms to help us reach plenty of height. This is also a good way to keep a good sense of balance.
A series of work stations was then then set up in the Turney School gym. These were designed at different levels based on the confidence for each class member.
