Purple Class have been completing their learning for the summer term by carrying out plenty of work based on Jack and the Beanstalk. This has proven to be a very popular story for the children who have enjoyed looking at the main characters of Jack and the Giant.
Our learning has involved various table activities being set up to help each class member achieve their learning aims. Some of the children have been matching up pictures of the main characters with their names. Other Purple Class member have been completing some of the missing words contained in the story.
Plenty of questions are asked by the teaching staff about the story as this work is carried out. One of the key learning targets is for each class member to be able to place the story in the correct sequence.
Some of the Purple Class children have even progressed to be able to read out the main events in the story with some adult support.
