Orange Class have been busy during the first part of the autumn term working on many new activities across the school curriculum. Our main reading book for the next few weeks is the Three Little Pigs.
Handwriting improvement has been one of the main aims with the children using some of the key words in the book to help with their letter formation skills. This work has also involved the Orange Class children recognising letters and words.
The Three Little Pigs have also made an appearance as part of the science learning in Orange Class. We have asked the children to consider what is the best material to build a house out of? Bricks, wood or straw?
The children are also starting to have some fun with some of our new learning resources in the classroom. The Orange Class shop has been set up and is proving to be very popular. We have been adapting the shop to fit some of the other learning taking place in class. It is currently being used as a place to buy building materials to build houses for the Three Little Pigs.
