Class 7RH have been learning about the difference between primary and secondary colours during recent art lessons. We have seen how primary colours are the key to creating secondary colours.
A template showing a famous portrait from Chris Ofili was handed out to each class member. The challenge was set to paint the image using secondary colours composed from the three primary colours. The pupils were asked to be as bold as possible with their colour choice.
This work then progressed to see what impact painting a new secondary colour over an existing colour might have. We noticed that once again this was a method we can use to help change a colour.
