All Secondary school pupils at Turney School are working hard and looking forward to the end of term Christmas concert. This will take place at the school on Tuesday 15th December at 2pm. All parents and carers of Secondary school pupils are invited to come along to our celebration.
Miss G has been using the weekly Singing and Signing assemblies to help prepare the pupils for the performance. Each class has taken the lead on one specific song. The class members will take to the front of the hall for the performance and help the pupils with the singing and signing.
A variety of traditional and contemporary songs will be sung at the Christmas concert. These include Silent Night, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want for Christmas is You, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree and I Wish It Could be Christmas Every Day.
The rehearsals are going well. We are lucky to have the first class signing skills of staff member Debbie to help out with some of the more tricky signs that are needed in some of the songs.
We are happy to share some previews of the songs as a work in progress in the recordings below. We look forward to welcoming many parents and carers of Secondary school pupils to Turney School for the concert on 15th December.
