The new Lime Class at Turney School is settling in very well to their new surroundings. Some of the Blue Class children have joined Lime Class to continue with their learning.
We still have very strong connections with our friends – a joint Lime and Blue Class trip to the theatre is currently being arranged. The children will be seeing a production of James and the Giant Peach. Work is already underway in starting to understand a little more about the characters and the plot.
Maths learning in Lime Class has focussed on understanding the sequence of the number line. We have a colourful class display to show our learning.
The children have also been learning about the Queen and the significance of her 90th birthday. We have been reading a biography of the Queen to help learn a little more about her life. The children have decorated their own Union flags.
