Turney School Collecting Clothes for Local Spires Charity

Turney School is once again organising to help those less fortunate in our community by working closely with Spires, the Streatham charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round.

As we approach the winter months, the staff and students at Turney School are being asked to donate any items of unwanted clothing for the charity. This is a partnership that we have been working together on for a number of years now. Staff members Debbie and Roxanne have taken the lead in helping to set up this link.

Spires carries out some amazing work in our Lambeth community. No one is turned away who might be in need of some help. The Turney School Sixth Form students have already started work on sorting some of the clothes that have been kindly donated. We are hopeful of arranging a trip to Spires with the 16+ students to hand over the donated items.

If you would like to donate any clothes to this very special charity, please do bring them along to Turney School. Debbie and Roxanne will be gratefully receive any donations. Thank you for your support.
