Year 7 have started to look at different countries as part of our humanities learning. Each lesson starts with a sensory activity. The pupils are asked to choose their favourite items from the sensory box.
The first question asked for our humanities work was: which country do we live in? This was then expanded to talk about which continent the UK is in. The pupils then held a discussion about other countries in Europe and what the defining features might be.
We watched a short video about Norway. It showed Barnaby Bear taking a trip to the country and explaining what he can see. Some questions then followed for the Class 7CM children to answer. We will continue to look at other European countries over the coming weeks.
