Yellow Class Pupils Start New London Topic

Yellow Class are making the most of the summer with regular trips to the nearby Brockwell Park. This activity is linked in with our science topic of growth. The children have been looking at the trees and plants in the park and seeing how they have changed. We also have fun feeding the ducks and enjoying the playground.

Another major theme in Yellow Class this term is to learn more about London. We have been making up our own stories involving famous landmarks in the capital. Plenty of acting and role play has taken place.

Yellow Class English work has involved rhyming words. We have used the story of the Gingerbread Man to help with this learning. The pupils will be baking their own tasty gingerbread men after the half term break.
