Class 9RH Science Reproduction Research

Our summer term science work in Class 9RH has involved the students learning about the male and female reproduction cells. We have looked at what happens to the baby as it is growing over the nine month pregnancy period.

The pupils have also looked at reproduction in different animals. We have compared and contrasted this experience with how human babies are born.

Table work has been set to challenge the students according to their learning needs. One group has labelled a diagram of a human foetus. Another group has played a game involving matching baby animals with the environment where they like to live. A final group has used this topic to help develop their cutting and writing skills.
