Our main learning in Yellow Class for the autumn term will be themes around animals. This will be cross-curriculum work with each subject including an animal theme in the learning. The children will be working to identify the names and sounds of different animals.
Individual table work has been set for each pupil. Class teacher Anna has prepared work that aims to meet the unique learning needs of each class member. Early work has involved improving our writing skills and identifying letters.
The children have also started their phonics learning. They are encouraged to work independently. Once a piece of work is completed then it goes into the finish tray.
Yellow Class will soon start to read Cycle in the Park this will be our first class book for the autumn term. Weekly visits into the local community will also be made. The children will be using their life skills when we visit the nearby Cafe Lulu every Friday.
