Data handling has been the main aim for Class 8MA during recent maths lessons. The pupils have used the tally system to see how we can groups data together to show a larger number.
Some of the class members have matched up numbers with the correct tally system. Maths teacher Miss V has helped with techniques such as counting each bar on the tally.
Another data handling exercise has involved sorting pictures. An example is sorting pictures into three data sets: animals, food and clothes. A final group of learners have been data handling by sorting colour groups.
Once the work was completed Miss V allowed the Class 8MA to have some choosing time with the dressing up box. Some interesting choices were made!
