Purple Class Look Forward to Transport Topic

Purple Class are finishing up their flowers and plants topic ahead of the Easter break. We have been reading the book The Tiny Seed. This explains how a seed grows into a plant, and then ends up as a tiny seed once again.

The children are starting to use their work stations to carry out individual table work. One of the objectives is to feel familiar with this way of working. Work stations are used throughout Turney School to help each child focus.

Elsewhere and our Wednesday weekly food tech activities are always fun. On Thursdays the Purple Class children visit the local shop. Visits to Brockwell Park take place on a Friday.

After the Easter break the children will move on to a new topic learning about transport. We will read the book The Magic Train Ride. Activities are already being planned to help make the story playful and creative.
