The Turney sixth forms students have helped to prepare for the leaving party of staff member Sue. We are very sorry to see Sue leave Turney School after so many years of helping out students and staff. The sixth form students decided that only the best party food was needed!
We have used our food tech time to design and create the party food. Healthy eating options was one of the main considerations. The students have come up with a menu that includes vegetarian sausage rolls, gluten free flapjack and fruit kebabs.
Food tech teacher Barbara helped the students with the presentation of the food. The fruit kebabs mounted on a pineapple base looked spectacular! This was the perfect party food to celebrate Sue’s happy retirement.
