Autumn term art lessons in Class 8AV are helping the pupils to recognise different styles and techniques. The class members are working with shapes, stencils and the light box.
We have used pastels and charcoals to see how they produce different effects. The pupils have also looked at the scale of pencil thickness and compared the lines that can be drawn.
Class 8AV were asked to draw a selection of lines in their art books. The instructions included long, short, thick and curved.
We have also looked at the famous Scream painting by Evard Munch. The pupils used the light box to trace the outline of the picture. This was then used to recreate The Scream in a freehand sketch.
